The pantry will be hosting a great Bar-B-Q consisting of Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, French Fries and Onion Rings, as well as soft drinks and tea & coffee for everyone, at our usual affordable prices.

HARVEST FALL THRESHING @ Heritage Acres
Sep 17 @ 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Harvest Fall Threshing at Heritage Acres

The Fall Threshing is one of our longest running events.  It has been running every year since 1974.  It is always a popular event for children of all ages from 2 to 102. Anyone over 102 should be accompanied by their parents!

There will be threshing done the old fashion way with Steam Engines and ancient noisy threshing machines.  Lots of antique farm tractors and equipment to see in operation.  Come on out and bring your children.  All your family members are welcome young and old alike.

As usual we will have the trains running for all of our Public Events.  Our Pantry kitchen will be open to serve you the very best Hot Dogs, French Fries, Onion Rings and of course Hamburgers, all at our usual reasonable prices.

Gate Admission is only $10.00 / adult – children 12 and under are free!

Planes, Trains, Automobiles, and Boats @ Hertiage Acres
Aug 5 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

The SAANICH HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS SOCIETY has decided to postpone this new event, which will be known as: PLANES, TRAINS, AUTOMOBILES AND BOATS orPTAB for short until the summer of 2017 in order to have more time for planning and marketing of this great event.  2017 will mark our 50th Anniversary and will be the perfect time to start a brand new tradition, with an awesome hobby type event.  Keep an eye out for further information regarding this event and the fantastic group of clubs and organizations that will be involved.  This event will propell Heritage Acres to a new level in community awareness and involvement.  Hope to see you here next August.

PTAB will be held to promote a variety of the local Hobbies and General Interest Groups and it will be geared to the young families of the Saanich Peninsula and Greater Victoria Region. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Heritage Acres Foundation.

As President of Heritage Acres, I would like to take this opportunity to invite your group to join us for this new event.

DATE:                   August 2017
TIMES:                 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

I am contacting a number of lower island hobby clubs to determine interest in participating in Heritage Acres PLANES TRAINS AUTOMOBILES AND BOATS event.
